The stay was good. The room was clean. AC unit broke and leaked water into the carpet. Staff was good about it, fixed and cleaned it up while we were out. Checking out was tricky, half our party was out at their own time share presentation that morning, and they agreed to extend the checkout time by thirty minutes. But our keys still deactivated at the normal time. When I tried to get access to our vehicle to load it with our luggage, and I had our parkade slip. First, they brought me the wrong vehicle, despite me telling them they were getting the wrong vehicle while they walked. Then they only unlocked it for me and wouldn't give me the keys. Other than the last day, everything was great.
Everything has been wonderful. The staff is super helpful (even too helpful, you can tell they are trying to sell you on a timeshare). Have no complaints right now.
Don't forget to bring laundry detergent and dish washer soap from home as there is a half size dishwasher and a in suite washer and dryer.
I stayed in a lower one bedroom standard. More than enough room for the four of us. Main bedroom bed was super comfy. Pull out couch mattress was poor but I did manage to sleep on it for the entire week. Air conditioning unit was loud but I just got used to it. In the bedroom you couldn't hear the ventilation unit.
Had a great 2 bedroom suite with an ocean view on the 10th floor. Room 10001. A perfect home away from home when you want easy access to downtown/Waikiki.
They never told us when we booked that they were under construction. Our room was literally a construction zone. There was a guy on our balcony at 8am working on our balcony. They balconys were unfinished and you could walk out on them. One didn't even have a finished guard rail. We had a baby and the noise was super loud all day. We asked to change rooms and they said no. It took them 2 hours to bring us an extra blanket and we finally just called and told them never mind because we didn't want to wait for it any longer. When you do a presentation beware! They tell you that you will be able to stay on their beach front property but you can never get in touch with them and you can never actually get that property. The room smelled moldy and the hot tub was a small above ground hot tub that you could get at costco. The sales person on the street level was not super nice and made fun of us for being from Utah and then tried to make up for it by showing us his photography which didn't help. The pool was super deep and was not really made for children. But Hawaii was super nice.
