Gorgeous property. Amazing views of Diamond head and Waikiki beach. 280000 gallon aquarium in the lobby is breathtaking. Room is fantastic.Beds super comfortable. Staff wonderful. Highly recommend!!
Just returned from 2 amazing weeks in Waikiki staying at the Pacific Beach Hotel. Although the hotel is nearing completion of a major renovation, we found it did not have any impact during our stay. And what a renovation it is, going to look amazing.
P.S. furniture quality is poor, nothing really to expect except for the view.
We paid $900+ for first two nights staying in the hotel, only being told they don’t have slippers (lying first), then slippers are actually not delivered to this type of the room. $900 paid Room, really???
Cannot wait to get back.
I complained to the front desk manager, at the end of the conversation, she was being very rude and stubborn about the slipper situation even though the front desk staff promised us them.
They never delivered the body wash to us for 2 nights, no hair dryer in the room either.
No body wash, no hair dryer, no slippers.
You could not find a more perfect place to stay in paradise.
To me, the level of service and amenity is no better then a motel, let alone it’s a 5 star hotel.
It was not about slippers, it’s about the staffs’ understanding about a 5 stars hotel service standard. Guess they did not get paid well??
It was a ridiculous experience, amenity is very minimum, everywhere is in construction, elevator was super super slow to handle 38 floors. Some of the staffs were very unfriendly although some of them are rather nice.
We booked an ocean view room. The view was spectacular. This hotel had an extremely small bathroom with barely any hot water. The heated toilet seats was unexpected. During our stay there was access to the pool as it is being renovated and we were not made aware of this at checkin. No room service is offered as far as we know but there was nothing in the room to indicate it. Upon arrival no map of the “resort” or the amenities was provided. The breakfast buffet was very good with an array of local fruits and smoothies.
Would have given 5 stars but the pool/pool bar was closed. Recently renovated rooms. We had an ocean view which was just spectacular. The lounge has a very cool vibe with the aquarium behind it. Good value for money.
