They have a restaurant with a range of dishes to suit most diners - open for (later) breakfast to dinner. The shuttle is handy to and from the airport, and they send it when you call, after collecting your luggage. It leaves the hotel every half hour to the airport for departures.The hotel is somewhat outdated, but I've always found it clean and adequate for my needs. The breakfast vending machine, drink machines, and little (well stocked) grocery & tourist shop, provide all I need for snacks and breakfast, because I depart (and arrive again, on my return journey) before the restaurant opens. The only suggestion I'd make would be to add a sliding door into the secondary building, the entrance to which is on a slight incline, so it can cause suitcases to slide downwards onto the road, while trying to enter your key card and hold open the door.
Convenient for overnight stays if you have an early departure at the airport. Complimentary shuttle service very convenient with a 10 minute round trip. Departs from the hotel at the top and bottom of the hour 24/7. If you are arriving, you call them from a courtesy phone near baggage claim and they send the shuttle over. Best Western Airport Hotel is the "sister hotel" -- another shuttle runs between these two which are only a block apart. The restaurants at the two hotels are not open for dinner at the same time. So only one is ever open but you can catch the shuttle to get to the one that is open.
Shuttle service took 40 min to pick us up. Everyone arriving after us only waited 5 min after being picked up by their shuttle service. The ambiance of this hotel is that of a late 90s era. The hall ways are carpeted with vending and laundry machines in the hall ways. Only good thing I have to say were the rooms and bathrooms. Clean no mold build up in the showers and corners.
The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. I had their breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The pool area is very nice too. I was here for only one night but i wouldn't mind staying longer if needed. It's definitely away from Waikiki and good for business or any kind of short trip needs.

I like this simple hotel. Being so close to Honolulu airport means it's convenient for me for a quick layover (after a domestic flight), before an early morning flight to Australia. It also serves it's purpose as a quiet place to lie horizontally, after my 10 hour return journey, before a domestic flight the next day. The beds are always clean and bug-free. The staff have always been polite and helpful; trying to get me into a room early, upon early morning arrival after a long flight from Australia.
Baggage ran late, they tracked it down while I was goofing off.
When I entered the room. Blood was on the bed and sheets. I reported it, never heard back. I asked for DNA test and germ test.
