Location is not bad, but room codition, staff services is not good. I payed 107 dollars for cleaning fee, but there's no daily cleaning service so i had to ask for changing towels every day, sometimes they don't have enough towel. Also room is not cleaned well, especially windows, air conditioner etc.. finally there is a hula club in second floor, so it's hard to sleep because of club sound.
Great location but completely deceptive advertising. I wish I had read these reviews before booking because I too was charged an extra $52 upon check-in for cleaning fees and taxes. Hotwire stated that there may be additional fees, like room service and resort fees. However this "cleaning fee" is a complete ripoff. There needs to be better transparency when booking this hotel.
Super convenient to Waikiki Beach, this hotel is quiet and feels like home quickly. Pool, sun deck, laundry facilities, and helpful front desk attendants. Not a fancy resort, more like a nice apartment complex.
The location is just steps from the beach and honolulu zoo. The front staff is nice and have great security. There is a restaurant in the building Teddys bigger burger and has amazing food. There is a bar on the second floor which is always fun. Parking across the street in the zoo parking lot. $1hour. Just make sure you take a picture of your license plate you will need that to pay for parking. ALSO make sure you have enough money on your parking they do TOW YOUR CAR! Call uber to get you to your final destination.
I give this hotel a 5 rating only because it faces the ocean and has a clear view of Diamonhead and Waikiki beach. The price is reasonable for a fantastic view of the ocean without obstruction from the benches with roofs and the shopping strip a little further down the beach. The higher priced hotels next door facing the ocean have a obstructed view of the beach because of the benches with roofs and the shopping strip on the beachfront. My air conditioner broke in my room and the management gave me another room with a great view the same day. Great hotel for the price.
