Everything about The Kahala is so guest focused. All the employees are friendly and want to make sure you have what you need and want. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities are top notch. Access to a private beach that's never too busy, excellent pool side service, and unique activities that other hotels do not offer: Dolphin Quest, canoe rides, paddle board lessons! The Kahala also surprised us with champagne in our hotel room upon arrival! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay.
We had tea at the Veranda at 2:30. There were 5 of us and there were 2 other parties there as well (4 and about a dozen). The decor was pleasant. The layout and tea service was nice. The selections and options for amount of food was excellent. Some of us wanted to customize our order due to allergies and were welcomed and encouraged to do so. The wait staff was friendly and helpful until it was time to pay. All of us had gift cards and after the first one was run we had to wait over 30 minutes for the second card to be run. The wait staff was so friendly but we thought it was unprofessional to leave us without any explanation for more than 20 minutes. One of the ladies in our party had to seek out our server and even then we didn't get an answer as to why we were waiting. After another 10 minutes we asked if we could pay in cash or with a credit card for the remainder of our bill.
Ate lunch at the Seaside Grill and ordered the Island Fish Tacos with Spicy Remoulade. The service was prompt and helpful; but the wait for the food was rather long (45min-1hr). The food was above average and the atmosphere was nice.
I love the pool area with the fish and dolphins. Its a beautiful place to take pictures. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Went here for brunch. The food was great. While eating we were able to see the dolphins outside. The service was great. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
