I can honestly say I had no complaints. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. The grounds were kept clean, and the breakfast was on point. The room have large round plates that we used to grab what we needed and go back to our rooms. The wifi could be weak at times, but for the most part it was fast. The only downside had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The fact you need military ID to get in Ford island means you can only take certain taxis if you want to come and go without if you don't have a car. Very quiet atmosphere. So if you are looking to get away from the city and just relax, this is your spot.
But we thought pretty highly of this hotel until they booked the room that we were staying in, WHILE we were staying in it. And they did it a day before our check out date! We did even have time to renew our stay because we thought we had time. They gave us no warning. Very poor customer service. And then they tell us they have no more rooms available. I couldn't imagine what this would be like for people who have children. We had to move everything to another hotel and our dogs. The customer service is pathetic. We will never be back to this hotel. Very disappointing!
Really great staff. DVD rentals, mini shopping Mart, playground for kids, pool, bug rooms with kitchenettes. All a good deal if you're PCSing.
When we first stayed at this hotel, we thought it was great. Nice rooms, clean pool. Although the breakfast is lacking. Honestly it was gross.
Out of all the TLA military lodges, this is by far the BEST ONE!!! If you are PCSing to Hawaii, this is your best option. This lodge is CLEAN and updated as well as affordable. My husband and I stayed at the Schofield Inn for just 2 days because it was unpleasant and decided to switch hotels. We came across the Navy Lodge and it is far superior in all aspects! Customer service was also excellent! The staff was very friendly. Our "standard" suite is amazing! It has 2 beds, a large bathroom sink, tub/shower, and a decently sized dining table. It even comes with a kitchenette that includes a stove and kitchen essentials like bowls, pots/pans & cutlery. This place is also pet friendly and does not charge you an outrageous price compared to other hotels, it is only a one time $100 fee. I HIGHLY recommend this lodge to all military personnel.
We spent three weeks here after pcsing. They treated us like family. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is my most favourite views of the island
