A wonderful hotel. The historic elegance adds to the visit. The staff are fantastic, friendly and professional. Facilities are good and have a very beautiful surroundings. The cost of accommodation is however very exorbitant and the rooms are very small.
I have grown up at the Moana. Built in 1901 it is the very first hotel in Waikiki. They have an amazing bar right on the beach, killer steak house, and really good views. Not only is it a special place for couples it's one of my families favorite places to visit during the holidays. I recommend this hotel before any other hotel on Oahu. They do habe a pool also but it's the beach you want. Right in the center of Waikiki, it's not called The First Lady of Waikiki for nothing.
Very nice hotel with three restaurants. Very busy though, so be aware of that when you come here. Plenty of amenities and right next to the beach. My room had a great view of the beach. Right in the hert of Waikiki. Lots of great shopping and restaurants nearby.
I loved it here! This place has so much charm with it's old Hawaii feel. The hotel is beautiful and the customer service is on point. Very close to everything. Walking distance to it's sister hotels (Sheraton and Royal Hawaiian) and to all the amazing restaurants and shopping!
Stayed at this hotel last month. Found out the robes were free, but we were not told at the time of our stay. Friends who were also staying called to get two robes and offered to pay for them. They were told the robes would be no charge and even offered to monogram them for free. They received their robes soon there after. I learned of this and tried to also get two robes. We were denied. Not sure why. Gets a one star review over two robes. Not good customer service.
