We were very pleased with our purchase at this location. My girlfriend and I moved to Honolulu from Pennsylvania so I could attend grad. school at UH. We tried sleeping on an air mattress from Walmart for a week, but the comfort level got worse every night. We decided to try out America's Mattress because it was close to our apartment. Maria K was the woman working at the time and was very helpful and understanding that we needed just a cheap mattress for a college student.
We purchased a bed and the expensive mattress protector a few months ago. The bed was said to be similar quality to the exact bed we were looking to find which we had previously owned. It was not at all comparable, so we returned it and exchanged it for a different mattress the same price, which somehow was of lessor quality- I am not sure how he pulled that one over, but had given us the runaround. Our salesman, who is the manager, was not friendly nor helpful about our situation. My daughter is a college student and will only be here for two years. He indicated the bed would be fine and hold up well for two years. It has only been two months and the bed sags in the middle! In order to file warranty, it must be at least a 1 1/2" depression, which is quite a bit. The sagging does not show up because of the memory foam, but is easily felt during the tossing and turning at night. I would not recommend sleep train to anyone- ever! We ordered a Tuft and Needle, which are wonderful beds and at half of the price. We just count the Sleeptrain experience as a loss. :(
They actually just moved their store across the street. Its now on 1314 Kapiolani. The guy who sold me my bed was this really nice young grad student from UH. He beat every other price I found to get me a good deal. Im really happy with the product and their friendly service. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the mattress market.
She was able to provide several upgrades and give us great discounts on a queen size mattress. I would highly recommend making sure that Maria was working when you went in. Great service and great discounts.

They were both knowledgeable and informative. They never pressured us to purchase anything, but I had to with their prices very competitive we purchased a Queen Size Ventura Frame/Foundation and a Mattress Protector.
They're Experts in Bed(s)! I bought a mattress last year from America's Mattress from a different location, but it seems that I was wrong!
I looked for a new bed at almost every place in Honolulu and came here last. I spent about 2 hours in the store, trying everything and chatting with the salesman. He made me the best deal of every place, by far, on the couple of mattresses I was interested in. He then even talked me out of buying a more expensive mattress and explained that the mattress structure of the two was the same and that I could make the less expensive one that I liked feel as soft as the more expensive one for a few bucks at a fabric store. Long story short, I ended up with the perfect mattress set for literally a couple hundred less than Slumberworld, Macy's, and others offered.
