We stayed over night for a short friends Christmas get together. Although I haven't been there in years, I was happy to see that the rooms were renovated very nicely. Very modern, bright and spacious rooms. The pool was small, but nice. The lobby and overall set up takes a bit of walking around, but it's hard to beat the hotel location right across the street from the beach. The restaurants look good, but we didn't eat there. They have a gym and spa as well. Parking structure is across the street and tight getting around. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and would return again.
Excellent hotel with a big shops in the lobby as well as a great assortment of plates for breakfast. They have a big swimming pool, very nice birds in big cages. They have very fast elevators and excellent views of Hawaii. Big and spacious rooms.
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency while I was in town for business in Honolulu. The hotel definitely caters to tourists and families, but I also found it to be a good option for staying while in town for work. The hotel has nicely updated rooms in both towers. They are also working on upgrading the elevators, which will fix the one recommendation that I have for them. The staff at check in were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I also really appreciated the reusable water bottles in the rooms and the spaciousness of the room layouts.
My stay has been wonderful so far. The staff are friendly and accommodating to requests. The location is superb being near all the shops and across from the beach. My room has a wonderful city view and is clean and modern with most conveniences. The elevators can be somewhat slow but it's fine if you're enjoying a vacay and not trying you rush everywhere. A great place to stay in Waikiki.
I don’t know why, but I love Hyatt properties for staying anywhere I go. This particular Hyatt on the shores of Waikiki is really fascinating. I stayed here for a couple of nights last year during my daddy’s business trip and had had a really pleasant stay. The management do care about minute aspects and the staff are very friendly and courteous. The staff on the Club floor were really amazing. I would most definitely like to go back there again and again. Their food is the best
