Excellent location and lovely accommodations. If you want a view of the ocean, be sure to ask for specific details about the room. We booked an ocean view room and we could see a tiny bit of the ocean if we leaned over the balcony and craned our necks around the corner. We were moved to a slightly better room after complaining, but the hotel staff maintained we were given an ocean view room initially.
Fantastic Vacation Location! The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a large complex with everything you could want. Beautiful scenery, restaurants, shops, car rental, airport shuttles, water sports, and shallow pools.
We stayed in the Lagoon Tower. It was a spacious condo with all the amenities. There was a large balcony with exquisite views, complementary washers and dryers, full kitchen and even a bidet.
We would definitely recommend this as a wonderful vacation destination. If you have a rental car, we would recommend the Shaka guide app. What a delightful way to see the island!
We stayed here for a week, It was a very fun place, lots to do and great places to eat. Room was very nice and great beds!! 4/5 because the check in process was terrible. 2 hour process. We waited standing in line for over an hour and a half, once at the check in desk it was 15 min to go through check in process then we had to wait in another line 20 min to get keys... there has to be a better way to check people in. Other then that it was a magical week!
I’ve been to the Hilton twice now, and each time is a fantastic experience. They have many little shops and my favourite tropics bar on the beach is just fantastic. Beautiful views of the beach and the water and diamond head volcano. I highly recommend Hilton Hawaiian village as they are top notch. You can rent an umbrella and two chairs for about $35 for a couple hours. They have fireworks every Friday night, and the show. It’s absolutely fantastic
I wish we could stay forever! Great hotel with nice clean rooms, gorgeous views, plenty of dining and shopping options on site, and of course tons of things to do! We actually only went to the real beach very briefly, because we were having too much fun in the lagoon (stand-up paddle boarding) and at the pools (water slides, hot tubs).
We did not eat on premises as there are tons of great restaurants close by the hotel. The shop people are very pushy so be sure to do your research before buying. The check in process is lengthy.
