Celebrated a friend's 40th birthday where they hosted the meal so I can't talk about pricing, but the 616 steak and prawn dinner was outstanding, as was the caprese salad. Service slow but friendly. Property is right on the water with excellent sunset views. No a/c made it a bit hot when dining.

Classic Kamaaina Lodge on the shores of Waikiki and looking back towards the Waianae mountains in the distance. It's too bad there's no beach there but the water is nice and the pool is good. And if you're an older citizen good dancing is fun. Best part are the Hawaiian monk seals that are on the beach next door!
The Lodge will remain open during the extensive renovations which are scheduled for the next several months. The pool, bar and restaurant will remain open although the menu will be adjusted as the kitchen and exercise areas are renovated. This is such a fantastic place small inconveniences are easily overlooked.
