What a wonderful find in Honolulu. First off the customer service was top notch. Shannon had us quickly sorted and handled our request for a sat nav etc quickly and efficiently. We were staying at the Sheraton, so the rental office was only a few minutes walk away.
The reason I'm giving two stars is because I didn't get a discounted rate for that day or anything for the wasted two hours. They wasted about two hours of my time, had I spent that time working the rental would have been paid for.
Would give 0 star if possible! We were waiting in the rain for about 1 hour and then someone told us there was no car！！！
First employees were nice easy to work with. We got the car and started driving out to the north shore from Waikiki and the low tire pressure alert comes on about 45 minutes into the drive. I call they say, "fill it up with gas and come back and we will swap out the car".
We hired a mid size car for $44 per day {before insurance} which was a lot less than in the lobby of the Sheraton $87 per day {before insurance}
This moderately pissed me off, (especially the fill it up with gas) but I drove back and swapping the car was a breeze they had the other car waiting. We jumped in and off we went.
Renting at this place was a breeze. It made our Hawaii experience great. The rates are competitive, the service was excellent and i cannot strest how HONEST THEY WERE. You are in great hands renting from this place and because of its small size, you get a personalble experience.
Both cars were new and extremely clean. I would recommend them as I can't imagine this happens often and they were very reasonably priced and easy to work with.
Absolutely the worst rental experience I've ever had. I would heavily advise anyone looking for a rental car to search elsewhere. The car was terrible and customer service was apathetic.
I requested a different vehicle after the car wouldn't start the first time, but the manager Stefan assured me that it just needed a jump start. Little Hawaii Rent A Car has offered no refund or apology. Absolutely terrible.
They wouldn't even answer their phone when we arrived. This caused us to miss our dinner reservations for the evening. When we finally got our vehicle it proceeded to break down twice!! This caused us to miss our helicopter tour and almost miss our departing flight.
We hired a car for two days in total and would thoroughly recommend them as a cheaper, yet none the less professional than the big name car renters whilst you are in Honolulu...
