I am considering buying this model of car so it was great to have one for a few days to do a real time test drive.
At first you're skeptical with Envy's low prices. It's a company you haven't really heard about. You're used to the big box companies like Hertz or Enterprise.

The crazy part was before my reservation ended, Envy emailed me asking if I would like to extend the car rental for an even cheaper price! Of course we took advantage. The only downfall was that we wanted to return the car early to avoid another 40 parking charge just to return the car at 8am. They agreed to an early return time as long as we could drop it off at their location and leave the keys in their drop box. Of course, not a problem... We decide that this is perfect and drop the car off at their Ala Moana Office. As soon as we pull up, Shawn walked up to the car and greeted us. He offered us a ride back to the hotel which he did not have to do. He is by far a huge asset to the Envy team. They are absolutely blessed to have him.
I had to do my research before booking. I wanted to make sure they were a legit company. Sure enough, each review I came across had GLOWING reviews and the customers couldn't say enough amazing things. I took the leap and found the perfect car that I wanted for my soul searching week with my sister.
I have already recommended Envy to friends.
I would 150% recommend everyone to Envy. It is the most positive experience I've ever had with a car rental company. They offer world class customer service.
Envy's website is beyond user friendly. It's straight to the point. What you see is exactly what you get. The entire reservation process was simple, quick and efficient. The customer service team followed up within an hour to answer any questions I had.
While in Hawaii we found Envy to be the most affordable car rentals. We were reimbursed our taxi when they were unable to deliver the car, due to staff. The car was fairly new with unlimited miles and GPS. There was no expectation to wash the car when we returned it and the online staff were very accommodating with all my questions around insurances.

Rent Envy was the best rental car experience I have had. They do not charge the extra fees that the main stream companies do. Like $65 per additional driver and an under 25 year old fee. They do not try an up sale you when you arrive. But the biggest advantage is no rental car booth lines. Once you get to the airport you just walk to the parking lot and drive away. When you drop the car off you just drive to the airport and park it where you picked it up. On our way back we drove past the suckers waiting in line for their cars. The line was 4 deep. Rent Envy allowed us to bring the car back later than the same time we picked up on our return day with no charge. For example you pick it up on 3/24 at 2 pm and drop it off 3/25 at 4 pm you would have to pay for 2 days instead of 1 with the other companies. And best of all they are cheaper for higher quality cars that the other companies. We rented a 2016 BMW X3 35I. They respond very quickly with the chat feature on the website.

The most amazing part about the entire experience is the customer service you receive while on the island. They drop the car off to YOU and pick up from you at your hotel. Shawn met us at our hotel lobby 15 minutes before scheduled drop off time. He was extremely friendly, personable and answered all our questions.
We rented a Volvo convertible from Envy last week and it was absolutely perfect!! The car was waiting for us as they promised (This was awesome as we drove by the massive lineup at the car rental places). Their entire team was super helpful throughout the entire process and I would not hesitate to rent from them again or recommend them to family/friends.
