Was fast and easy to pick up and bring back the car. Only annoying thing was that they always write that they are open until 8 but the office is just open until 5, so when you want to rent a car you have to be there before 5.
The people that took care of us were extremely helpful. I highly recommend using Alamo for car rental. Very convenient loocation in Waikiki.
Probably the best customer service we got on our trip to Hawaii. We booked through Air Miles for economic car rentals for 5 days (none consecutive). The first day the guy was very friendly and joking around overall super pleasant. All the other staff were also nice and courteous. Due to some attractions being closed we had to change our plans on the days we rented the cars. We were staying across the road so we stopped over and both times they changed the day of our reservation no questions asked. Each day we got a different vehicle, all of which seemed like they were an upgrade compared to what we booked on Air Miles (Toyota Camry, Nissan Sentra? Ford Fusion, Fiat 500 and Subaru Imprezza). All the cars were clean and in nice shape. The only way they could improve is to have more staff (at check in/showing you to the car) or maybe an express lane for those who have a reservation as this location is crazy busy and at times took us 20+ minutes to get our car. Overall we are happy customers.
This place is awesome compared to others in the big hotels. No line and the door in 20 minutes.
The staff was very friendly. The puckup and return was easy. I would have given a 5 star accept fot the windows in the car were pretty dirty. The car itself was clean but those windows were bad. When deturning the car we told the sgent checking us back in and he apologized. But overall itvwas a good experience dealingvwith alamo
