There are inefficiencies with the shuttle services and scheduling that HNL Ford offer customers. I had to wait over an hour before the Shuttle returned to be transferred to work. And I was picked up 1.5 hours after their last shuttle run. If you are in a rush, may want to find alternative transportation.
I've spent 2 days (14 hours) waiting for my car at Ford for warranty repair on my 2015 Escape with 27,000 miles. The problem still persists. The first day I took it in, I told the service department of the difficulties I was having with the suspension (a springy sound from the back every time I drive over a small bump). After waiting seven hours they told me they had to order parts for my suspension as they did not have it in stock. They were very polite, but it was a little frustrating seeing that I showed up for a first appointment and the problem (suspension) was discussed early. But they were slammed because they were short staffed on account of people calling in sick. The second time I went (again I had an appointment for first thing in the morning), I arrived before they opened. I waited almost 7 hours (8:50–3:30). In fairness to them, they did do some extra work for me (they put on a roof rack and said they did not charge me for labor... I was told it would cost me $150, but it ended up costing me $450) No one told me that prior to the up-charge. They had me pay the cashier and then sent me to find my car (no one talked with me to tell me what they did, no one met me at my car, they only said it was fixed when they handed me the keys). The springy sound has lessened… but it is still there when I go over a speed bump. I don't think it is normal to have any such sound. I'm scheduled to go back in on Monday January 8th (sigh).
My wife and I were in need of a new car. We figured we couldn't qualify for a new car but we went to check out some of the things we had heard on the Radio that Honolulu Ford was advertising. We were greeted and moments later Thomas was helping us. We got to look at a great selection of cars that were both new and used. We told him exactly what we wanted and the process was very smooth and efficient! A couple of hours later we drove off the lot with our Brand New Car! A beautiful Ford Fiesta. Thanks again Thomas and Honolulu Ford.
Honolulu Ford is awesome! Our salesman Rhett was such a pleasure to work with. I have bought several vehicles through him from Honolulu Ford and every experience was a pleasure. He was a great listener who really cared that my wife and I bought a car that met all our needs. My service advisor Ms. Tiffany is a genuine young lady that put much care into providing thorough details in explaining the services that would be provided to my car and followed up with a call and explaining my bill to me. I really like working with Tiffany and HNL Ford is fortunate to have her.
I took my car into the service center to get serviced for some recalls that came up. The center told me it would be a 3 week wait just for an appointment. I made the appointment and took my car in on the appointed day. At this time they told me it would be 3 more weeks to get everything fixed. So I waited the appropriate amount of time, then I called the service center to get any updates on my car and they told me it would be another 2 weeks. So again I waited. I called a third time and finally my car was finished with the repairs. I think you need to do a complete revamp of your staff to find the problem with the service taking so long. Never buying from here and I'm guessing the the cars are overpriced and not serviced properly.
