For military members, this is the best place to shop in all of Hawaii. Largest selection of clothing for all ages,and the Hawaii made food products,inc.macadamia nuts &candy is huge. NEX has it all. Don't shop in Waikiki for touristy items..get them at NEX. The commissary is right next door which makes it super convenient.
Ok if you don't like supporting local gov't by paying sales tax. The military is continuing to ruin Hawaii -- a proud 200 year tradition. The navy never ceases to leech on the local infrastructure, never contributing anything worthwhile. Mahalo!

Jus bought a Sony 4K... The Sony vendor was very professional an informative on the product she was selling...answered all my questions without hesitation...she was very well versed in all areas applicable to her products and her job.
This place is huge! I've never been to a NEX so big before. This place has got two stories and a killer food court. Great selection of clothes and household goods and has great sales prices. It's always nice to not pay sales tax too. They even have a super clearance area out in front. If you have the time you can easily spend 2-3 hours shopping here.
Excellent NEX. By far the best in the world. Better than Dan Diego and Norfolk. Looks nicer and feels more pleasant. Food court is untouchable. Has every thing an NEX should have.
