Great spot, pick up a bottle of wine at Fujiokas (they're awesome, knowledgeable, and helpful with pairing wine with foods). No corkage fee! Win's staff are great, very attentive and gracious. I've made suggestions and seen the item as a special a couple weeks later! Really nice, down to earth place for a pasta dinner. The food is delicious and the servings are huge for tge price, so if you aren't supper hungry, count on take home that will be delicious the next day too!
I was impressed by the size to price ratio. The food was really good, veggies were fresh and flavorful, and the staff is very friendly. Its a small place and you can see the cook area but honestly I like that its small. Less noise and people so To better enjoy the meal. Ive tried a few flavors of cheese cake and its been on point every time !! The calimari is a must as well.
The Garlic Bread with cheese is sooooper good, and is a must to mop up the garlic and butter from the Shrimp Scampi. Hence...not dry.
Portions are huge

In closing...if you order the clams with pasta from here, (which if classically prepared anywhere else BUT here is call Pasta Ala Vongole), pre-hydrate, and bring a bottle of wine or you will succumb to dehydration
I had the clams AND upgraded with fresh clams with pasta for my entree. It was unremarkable, but I recall dry, lacking flavor, and dry. It came with a sliver of lemon which I assume was to aid the DRYNESS, but half of a lemon would have been more appropriate. It was DRY. On a positive note, my entree encouraged me to drink more water, which I habitually lack at any given waking moment. Because my entree was dry.
You can tell a good restaurant if it’s popular with the locals. This hybrid Italian gem is nestled in a second floor of a strip mall. Another plus — it’s BYOB!
