I like the location. Food selection is great. Food quality is equally great. Service is good. Waits can be long depending on the day.
Food was delicious - the pizzas were flavorful and not too heavy, and the Buffalo cauliflower was against very tasty and not overly deep fried.
If we weren't just passing through, I'd be back!
Try the Cucumber Reviver - Hawaiian Pizza was good too.
My wife and I went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen while on vacation. One thing that I expect with a Brand Name Recognition is consistency in food. Both my wife and I ordered salads. Mine was the Waldorf salad with nothing but greens. No chicken to speak of as well as grapes, nuts and apples. The waiter was nice and friendly but his answer was that he did not know how a Waldorf salad was on the mainland. This is a brand recognition and you would expect the food to be the same here as on the mainland. I know if i go to McDonalds, Burger King or any name brand chain it should be the same. I will give the waiter credit for making a small off set in the bill but they need some help with executing the menu.

I consider that food is a bit pricey compared with other options but overall a good experience, good portions and good food.
Was busy when we got here, but got a table and the service was quite good considering how full the place was.

As I told my family when they visited Hawaii "you can't go wrong with California Pizza Kitchen". This location, however, has fantastic customer service. The waitress was doing a wonderful job keeping up with a full restaurant and, although it did take longer than usual for us to get our food the manager personally came out and apologized and offered us a dessert because of the long wait. That sort of proactive approach shows that the staff here really cares about making sure the customer is happy. Of course the food was good and we had no other issues.
Very comfortable seats! A welcome relief.
