Coming to Buca is an experience, not just an ordinary dinner. This place is huge so it's a fantastic location for a group outing, but also works well for a small family. The biggest thing to understand is the menu is very different - things are sold in big portions and you have to split the food with your party. My biggest tip is take a look at the menu before sitting down so your group can come up with an idea of what you are going to order. I've been here so many times and I've never had a bad experience with the food or service. Definitely sign up for the email club if you haven't - you can get some really good value coupons!
The food is great and fairly consistent. The times that I have gone, the staff has been really helpful and great with the guests that I take there. The place can accommodate small or large parties. The best part is that this is a family style restaurant so you can order a couple of items to share and everybody should be able to eat. There is also a lunch menu during the day that offers individual serving sizes. Nice for the family and great Italian food with something for everybody.
My family use to dine in every couple months but the last time I promised we'd never return. We spent over $200 feeding 3 adults & 1 child (appetizer, entrees, dessert, & drinks) only to receive poor service along with cold & overcooked food. Since this was not the first time we had bad service or below satisfactory food, my decision to splurge elsewhere has been made.

Don't let prices fool u. Family style meal and you get more bang for your buck then other places. Friendly and awesome interior. You can even eat in the kitchen haha
Their Alfredo is the best I've ever had!! We typically go on a Friday and Saturdays and we habe enough food to last us the whole weekend! We sit at the bar and the bartenders customer service is excellent every time we go. My favorite restaurant to go to on Oahu hands down!
