I was reminiscing with my son last night about our trip to Hawaii back in 2008. We remember our breakfasts at Dennys. We had this awesome waitress Ramona. It prompted me to look here tonight to see if there were any comments about her. I was wondering if she was still there. She left a lasting impression on me. Sweet woman. Memorize all 6 of our orders, never writing anything down. 7 years later I still think of her. From Michigan, I hope all is well for her.
This Denny’s is a bit hidden away at the end of Lewer’s street but go early cos it can get very busy! We needed a table for 7 and they got us a table without much wait at all (as we were there around 8am, by 9am there was a line).
Refillable coffee is also pretty nice here, despite it not being espresso.
Pancakes are delicious, especially the Holiday flavours like Pumpkin pancakes and cranberry & orange.
I love that the kids breakfast is so cheap- only $3.99. Great value!
Normally don't write reviews.. but we had a terrible breakfast here today.
Her coffee mug also came with a beautiful helping of the last patrons lipstick all around the rim... pretty disgusting. And when she notified our waitress she was quite rude and just walked away lol we didn't even know what to say at that point...
Awesome large servings. Great for large families /groups. Friendly service and it's pretty quick considering it's always busy. May have to wait for a table but well worth it. Had breakfast with the family while we planned our packed day of stuff and things to do.
Comfort food at reasonable prices. Large portions of good food. Highly recommend if you wanna save a buck in Waikiki.
Sadly there is no parking. It is accessible.
But won't be returning.. there are much better breakfast spots on the strip for the same price. Steer clear.
They were extremely busy, but I would have waited longer to have our food cooked properly. My wife's "poached eggs" came in a bowl full of hot water and were undercooked/raw.
Gave it 2 stars because my omelette was cooked well and the manager at the front was a nice/patient guy.
