My wife and I snuck in at open time without a reservation. The bread is delicious. The Marco Polo meal is delicious. I'm not a big fan of their Margarita Pizza but all in all worth the cash. Not a great venue for brining a stroller. Doable but just not great. They have no draft beer either. Kind of a bummer. They do have a tiny table in the women's bathroom which can be used as a changing table for babies.
This place is highly overated. The menus they offer are not even real Italian menus. How can you offer a pizza as main course. Taste is ok but price-quality speaking it is very bad. By the way, all the paintings are French so it looks like a French Bistro instead of an Italian Osteria.

Service, great. Food, good to excellent. Laid back and accessible. Slightly pricey but it's Waikiki. My wife had the bolgonese at a very reasonable $20 and it was excellent.
