Great park for open fire grilling and picnics. Lots of benches, shade, shower and restrooms. Swimming areas (more sand, not rocks) are better if you walk further up Kahala Beach in front of the big estate homes.
This beach has limited parking. It has a nice bathroom and picnic table area. The water is shallow and low waves so perfect for kids. The sand is a bit rocky and it can be very windy. If you are lucky, there are turtles every once in awhile :) Great photo and fishing spot
Small beach, great park. Tons of palm trees and tables for picnics. Usually not too crowded, but parking lot is very small. (Parking is free.)
Beautiful beach, very relaxing and safe. However, it has become so popular now that there are way too many people there. Photographers horde this area like crazy. Everytime I've been here, there has been at least 2 wedding/engagement shoots going on. Sort of ruins it for me. Parking is super limited. It is also very very very windy in this area. Watch your umbrellas and belongings or else they'll fly away
Nice, relatively quiet beach. Blend of locals and tourists from Kahala resort. A wedding, baptism, and 2 photoshoots were taking place while I was there.
