The beach is quieter than Waikiki, which in my opinion is a huge plus. Also, for people with strollers (like us) it's great to have a boardwalk to stroll with baby, especially during sunset. There are a few restaurants along the boardwalk. Also great people watching! Beach volleyball, racket ball, etc.
Good safe swimming at the beach and you can rent beach umbrella's and seats (already set up in allocated area). Other beach equipment hire available at good rates. Park area has bbq's and tables for public use
Beautiful beach, but there is a lot of people... There is nice little restaurant on the beach and the water is very good! We did not see any Portuguese man o war like on the beaches on the other side of the island.
This place is awesome. You swim out a little bit of the beach and you'll see a biodiverse reef. If you are lucky you might even spot a sea turtle. a lot of activity. my friends and I speared some fish to eat
These are 4 sunsets on different days, and different parts of the beach.
All the staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I am very glad they saved this historic landmark and opened it up to the public. Very informative!
