Though this isn't the prettiest beach Park, it's a really great spot for beginner paddlers and kayaking as the shallow waters are fairly calm and waist deep in case you fall off.
Only issue is there is no shade here or much sand, more rocks and carpark with a bit of grass so bring a tent.
Very nice shore line. Not for swimming. Alot of fishing boats leave from here and kayaks. Good for shore fishing.
Perfect place to bring the family and relax. View is pretty spectacular as well.
A place for Sun and Sea activities year round....with the temperature at a moderate 77°.........there's a boat ramp, cleaning facilities, eateries and rentals, convience stores and a whole bunch of fun, fun, FUN !!!
I wasn't at Maunalua Bay Beach Park. I was at Kuliouou Community Beach Park, although Google Maps mistakenly thinks I was at the former, and this review thingy popped up. Oh well. At any rate, it was nice. I go there every day. Come to think of it, Maunalua Bay Beach Park is okay too.
HUGE parking lot with 2 boat ramps, and a soft spot to launch kayaks on the far right near the outrigger canoes.
