Kids love coming here they have so much fun. But the concrete where the water is is very slippery. I make sure that my kids either wear water shoes or their crocs because the first tune we went my daughter slipped and fell pretty hard.
Cute little splash pad. Not enough seating with shade. There's 2 picnic tables under shade and a park right next to the splash pad. Bring a towel and lunch and you can stay for the better part of the afternoon.
Cute little park where kids can play. There's a a regular slide next to the actual splash area so kids don't need to get wet if they don't have to. There's a sitting area for adults with a BBQ grill nearby as well. The skatepark is right next door too if you have older kids who skate.
I want so badly to give this park 5 stars, but I can't. Why is there only 1 shaded place to watch kids from? Why are there 3 shade structures on the other side of the playground without picnic tables under them? It's a poorly thought out design, but we still really love it. Just bring LOTS of sunscreen.
It's a nice splash pad considering it's free. You hit a button to get it started but if it hasn't been on in awhile it might take a bit for it to start. So be patient. The biggest draw back on the place is the fact there are very limited seating areas and really only one that is covered near by. Overall though it's a fun place that my kids enjoy.
