It is very beautiful here, on a sunny day the water is so clear. I didn't snorkel but you can hire equipment. The change rooms and toilets nearby are handy. You do have to pay to get into the beach which came as a suprise as I am Australian all beach access is free! But it forces you to watch a video before entry advising the importance of the reef and best practise. For tourists who don't know any better I suppose this is a good idea. I went on a weekend and the beach was packed, not sure if a weekday would be any better. Oh and there is mongoose everywhere so keep food packed away.
Great coral reef with plenty of big fish and other marine life. Very very busy during peak season. You will be able to find parking if you come before 8am or after 3pm. The beach closes around 5:15. If you park elsewhere it will be a long walk
Not a bad place but I rated lower because you have to pay to get to the beach. They claim it to be a nature preserve. The cost is $7.50 for the beach access and $1 for parking. There is a place to eat and the hamburgers are pretty good.
You can still get a great ocean view even if you don't pay.
There are so many fish and they are so beautiful and colorful!! Bring proper equipment and you can stay almost all day! Very nice experience. Go early in the morning to avoid the big crowd ... I would come back for sure!
Perfect place to spend an afternoon. Shallow, clear, and clean water. The view of the bay itself is awesome. Kids loved it, and so did us adults. Even without the snorkeling gear, one could easily spot colorful fishes in the knee-deep water. Excellent place!
