Just can't resist to share my visit here today (Aug 11th). I saw bad reviews about this place, but hard to believe till you have experienced for yourself. I went in this place in the morning to get my car title transferred. Within 10 minutes, seriously, 10 minutes i was out. In comparison to where I came from (TX & CA), the service here is super. And it's just can't be happier than this. The lady who has helped me was so polite and efficient. Thanks to her for her professional!
I suggest to check ahead of time that they do the service you need, try really hard to go during the weekdays and not at lunch hour, and bring your check book.
They don't do everything here and there's two separate lines - one for anything that has to do with your license and one for all the other stuff (like registration). The other stuff line is generally shorter. I went at about 11am on a Wednesday and there was a bit of a line, but I was out in under 15 minutes for a car registration re-newal. The person that helped me was friendly and efficient, no attitude here.
Typical government service with not enough employees working and long lines. Funny bc taxes always go up!
Can get very busy during the lunch hour. Only accepts cash and checks, no credit/debit cards. Come early or be prepared to wait an hour or more!
