Stay away! Hospital appears to be specializing in medical malpractice and fraud. There are enough alternatives in town, avoid whenever possible.
Queen's Hospital is our big hospital. Like many hospital, incremental building additions overtime make it difficult to navigating through the hospital. I really mean navigate when you're inside the hospital. If I have to give direction:
"From the parking structure, you take the elevator to street level, walk through the promenade, through the entry lobby. Here the volunteer reception can give you directions to your destination. Emma tower is where I usually go and visit patients. You can continue to walk pass the gift shop, tunnel through the hallways, keep left or follow the arrows on the ground or the overhead sign and there you are, the Emma tower elevators.
Queen's ER is dark & foreboding. The staff are automatons, limited to spartan response. You get but enough to question perception.10 hrs I spent, many alone in a disused room. no light; no communications. Then, deliverance. In Oncology, the nurses are butterflies - quiet, gentle, buoyant joy. Perfection lives: it's found in relief. That's what I got. The doctors are an elusive & curious link between the two worlds.
Psychiatrist man threatened command to me take my medicine Risperidone and Benztropine side effect cause anxiety since 2011. Risperdone and Benztropine were not good. I will be apply to complaint write a file against psychiatrist man.
Thank you guys, you really are the last ER who listens to their patients. You listened and you knew I wasn't there to "get a fix" but to treat my pain and help me with my nightmare. It really is important that doctors listen to their patients. I get it there are people who abuse the system but I get so freaked out in pain that the last thing I need is somebody judging whether I'm being honest or not. I wouldn't be here unless I absolutely had to, and for some reason, Queens is the only hospital that really understands that I have Crohn's and it hurts. You see, some docs immediately right you off, or give me something to get out of their face. Not at Queens, not with Dr. Ramstack. She went above and beyond and I think may have actually helped my Crohn's in the process, by not prescribing me pain meds but steroids which helped, a lot. Bravo! I think my steroids are finally starting to work and hopefully I won't be seeing you guys as much. Thank you for the wonderful care and treatment!
Hey Guys. I think I need to buy you guys pizza. From my gallbladder issues to my sciatic nerve pain to perianal abscesses, all related to my ever-burgeoning Crohn's disease, I would just like to say thank you to Dr. Suzuki and PA-C Dr. Ramstack. Also, of course Dr. Cheng, who's great with a scalpel. I really appreciate Dr. Ramstack taking the time to explain things to me, she did a lot more than most ER docs I have experienced. She was really nice and gentle with me and I can tell she is really right for her job. Dr Suzuki let her take control b/c Dr. Ramstack kicked ass. I have Crohn's and it's super irritating and lame and puts me in the ER so much I could scream!
I like Queen's since there is more room in the patients room and I don't know, I just think people get well faster if they have some breathing room.
