Lazy tire techs didn't bother removing my old tire weights from the rim and just ended up adding a lot of additional weights to balance the tire and assume you won't notice. Plain lazy.
I dropped my car off to get one of the lug nut fixed because it broke. They also checked my brakes and got it fixed. I was satisfied with the sevice and it was close by to where I'm staying. Cost me $600+ but I was willing to pay for that.
I took my car in for an oil change and safety inspection. Everything seemed fine until they finished. They told me that when they rolled the driver window down for the inspection, it would not go back up again. Now I'm upset because they've broken my car! The window was working fine the day before. They didn't offer any assistance in getting it back up again. When I went to get in the car, I put the key in and pulled the window switch and it rolled right up. They tried to roll the window up with the key off, so of course it didn't work. But do they not know that most cars with power windows require the key be on?? How is this something these people don't know? Be wary of going to a Firestone. They apparently hire some pretty dimwitted people, so they are almost guaranteed to make a mistake of some kind.
Firestone sent me a postcard advertising $49.00 for an synthetic oil change. (5 quarts of oil), each quart after that was $2.00 more. I called and made an appointment for the following week. I told them my make and model of car, and the customer service rep. looked up my car, and we agreed it took 8 quarts of oil, so the total cost would be $60.00 with tax and disposal. I was told to bring in the postcard when I came. I arrived on time, with the postcard and my car. They refused to honor the postcard advertisement, and the agreement made with the customer service representative. They said it would be $120.00, not $60.00. Double the price. I asked to talk to the manager. The manager also would not honor the printed advertisement, or the agreement with the customer service representative. This is "false advertising" and it is a crime. A company cannot "lure" in customer, and "bait and switch" and charge more money than the printed ad. They must honor the ad. I was honest and upfront with everything, the ad, my car, the oil needed, how much oil. They gave no reason why they would not honor THEIR ad THEY sent to me in the mail. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE NOT HONEST. THEY WILL RAISE THE PRICE even if you have an verbal agreement from a Firestone employee, and a printed advertisement from them. I am going to contact the media about this for a full investigation. This is criminal.
40 dollar basic oil change for Mazda 3 little pricy but the worst thing is appointment for 2 pm they said be back at 330. Wow a hour half oil change what a joke
