Very large opperation friendly prompt service and they work with insurance companies
My car was involved in an accident while parked in my driveway and the insurance company said I had to go to Basic Auto Collison and Repair in HNL. I read the reviews and was quite scared to ship my car off island to them. WELL, I have to say, Christine was MORE than helpful. I do not know who the other reivewers were talking about. EVERYTIME I called she was polite and explained what was happening to my car, she also went above and beyond her duty to fix the door (ie shipped the car to the dealer for the Bose CD to be replaced), and did not charge me. I am a small business owner and I know the cost of labor and time is money. Yes the Hawaiian Islands are small and I have shared my experience with customers that have come into my store, and they are all impressed with the customer service I received. Thank you Christine for all your help.
2 weeks later I arrived back from the trip. Tadah! My car looked good as new. Job well done. She had the boys detail the car all shiny to match the new bumper. Bonus!

Christine met with my insurance rep and they handled the details of cost. I was going off island for 2 weeks and dropped off car the morning of my flight. Christine was so kind and dropped me off at the airport!
they , ted and christine, care about there workers and customers i've bin told its the cleanest body shop my friend ever worked in and the very best equipted to do any thing you could possably need done.
one day i shall visit there in person from maryland usa and meet this wonderful couple. as i know them as un sung hero's and are grately admired by there workers and contemperaries.
ted loves his work, its his passion, and has all the tools and training to do anything he sets his mind to do. his work group gets along well with all and they all work together as a tight knit group and family to do first rate quality work.
5 gold stars! I got rear ended on Kinau waiting at a red light. Guy behind me had faulty breaks? Anyway went to Basic Auto on Umi street for an estimate on repair. Christine was extremely friendly and sympathetic to my situation. She explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. I was relieved and confident in Teddys capabilities in repairing my car.
