Delicious! The pancakes are massive and delicious. The omletes are tasty. The cinnamon toast (minus extra butter) was delightful - can actually taste the cinnamon. Butter rolls are light & fluffy. Potatoes are well cooked with light seasoning, thick slices. Hot sauce and soy sauce at the counter.
Loved this place for a late night snack (full meal). There was a line to be seated, but WELL worth the wait. The pancakes were off the charts.
I often come here for breakfast and it's usually busy on weekends but not too busy on weekdays. They recently open up more tables inside the kitchen. So there's additional seating available if there's none at the counter. I ordered country style omelette. It comes with complimentary sweet/dinner rolls or toast. If you go with toast, they give you four pieces. The roll comes with only two pieces. Just FYI. The potatoes are really really plain. But they have pepper and ketchup on the counter to make it tolerable.
Great prices. Most of the products are good but the cream puffs, cocoa puffs, and green tea puffs are amazing. The diner bar available on the side is also a great place to grab a bite if you manage to steal a seat.
I love, love, love this place! But last night's experience was horrible. We sat at the counter for more than 20 min before someone even looked at us or approached us. It was late around 10pm. There were a few other couples sitting at the counter waiting to be acknowledged. The ladies kept walking back and forth talking to each other without not even one of the 5 looking up to greet us. Such a disrespect to the customer as if I wasn't such a loyal guest living in the area, I would have walked out. After ordering, we had to wait another 15 min for our drinks (iced water) nothing too difficult to make. Once again, our food was placed at 10:30pm and my boyfriend received his omelette first. They forgot to make my burger and by 11pm, I finally received my burger. He had to eat his omelette cold. On top of it, I asked for a dry bun and of course they didn't take heed to my request and I had to wait an additional 20 min for them to remake the bun. Once we got our food, my boyfriend found a hair in his food. The experience was horrible, the service was god awful and the food was just slopped onto the plate. Everyone seemed to be doing their own thing or not even care. Obviously there was no manager in sight or I would have spoke to him/her. One of the ladies told me they were in the middle of shift change. But everyone had their head down and were not attentive at all. Needless to say, this place to good. Bakery is wonderful! Just be careful not to visit on the shift change I guess. Liliha Bakery should be more attentive and caring to the patrons paying their bills.
Tons of pastries, cookies, cakes, bars, cupcakes, jelly, etc for sale/to go. Seemed to be quite busy during the morning. There are vegetarian options!
