Mahalo
Aloha,
Overall come here if you're really hungry and within walking distance.
I love their selection of Filipino food. The entrees are so yummy. I also like to snacks like lumpia or ensemada, both are savory and not sweet. Location is convenient. Seating inside is very limited and there is no outside seating.
We came here because some of the Filipino staff at our hotel suggested to try this place. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The servings were plentiful but keep in mind it's precooked so don't come here thinking you're going to get a fresh meal unless you're lucky enough to get a recently cooked serving.
The dirtiest-looking kitchen I've seen in my life, but they have good Spanish rolls for cheap. Make sure you ask for them to warm them or freshly baked, or they'll just give you some that have been sitting there all day.
We ordered pancit, chicken adobo, and the sinigang. The pancit noodle was fresh, it had lots of vegetables and meat,( probably a fresh batch) The adobo sauce was too oily, but the chicken was tasty. The sinigang was bland, it needed more patis and kalamansi.
It may be unfair to judge this place, because I've been to the Philippines and have experienced some of the best filipino food. Especially in Angeles city. The tocino was not as sweet and delicious as I was expecting. The pork adobo had more fat then meat. The staff seemed pleasant enough.
