The armchair adventurer is like if the show cheers was a board game shop. The staff is friendly and the costumers are inviting. There is almost always something going on and if they don't have what you are looking for they will special order it for you.
I had to call them to finally find it. But once I got someone on the phone he answered my questions with enthusiasm and walked me through how to get to the store. Once I was in the store that same gentlemen greeted me and asked if he could help. He walked me through a few different games based on what I was looking for and then left me to browse. Great experience. Very friendly and welcoming.
This store is a literal trove of board, card, and tabletop games. The games are organized very neatly in alphabetical order along the walls. There are tabletop supplies; including paints, figures, dice, etc. New games are coming in all the time. And games they don't have in-store can be ordered.

I attend nearly every Thursday for Board Game night. You can bring your own or play any of the store's demos from their large library. It's real easy to just join a group of strangers and start playing.
If you're looking for a place to game, this is it. Lots of table space and private rooms to host an orc hunt or space battle. If you don't already have a group you game with, groups looking for more post signup sheets.
Friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable staff. They offer a standing order system for those of us who want to keep up on the latest in their comic book series. If you are looking for a specific comic and they do not have it, they are willing to put an order in for you too. From 5pm till close every day of the week they have a different event going on. Their board game collection is also commendable. If you aren't sure about the board game, there are board game nights on Tuesdays.
