Lines can get long but don't waver. It's worth the wait!!
We are on a low carb diet so we got the poke by the pound rather than the meal. For $8.50 you get a can drink, rice and half pound of poke. For $20 you get 1 pound of poke. It was frustrating being punished for not wanting to waste food. Anyway, I got the #1 which was spicy and flavorful. My friend got #8 (wasabi) which was potent to the point you couldn't taste the fish at all. The fish was obviously high quality and tasted fresh. Worth stopping by if you're in the area.
Maybe one of my favourite meals on my trip. The price is very reasonable and it includes a drink. The fish is so fresh and tasty the texture of the fish is wonderful. It's a smaller serving then some of the other places I ate at, but this was by far the best poke I had.
Fantastic poke, don't know how it could be better. Menu is limited, just two kinds of fish, each with a few different preparations, but wow is it good. I really liked the Shoyu ones, just a bit spicy and flavorful. The true spicy versions are too creamy for me, but my wife lived them. Cucumber kimchee salad in the case is also excellent.
Large portions of delicious poke for cheap prices. Line out the door at lunchtime. Limited table space at 2 outdoor picnic tables. Very small parking lot. Best if you can walk here.
Best poke in town. No frills with quick service. Very little seating but people make do and crowd together to eat their poke - it's a great experience. They do have cash only days so don't go with just a credit card on you.
I got the creamy ahi and the spicy ahi. Yum!
