Times has my vote for one of the better community grocery stores for a few reasons, mainly because they care about the environment and only offer paper bags instead of choosing to follow the pack with the loophole in the plastic bag ban and just make thicker bags. The staff are very friendly and the lines aren't too long. They have a nice selection of poke and dried fish and a nice variety of vegetables. If they offered more organic and local options (not wrapped in plastic) for their veggies I'd give them 5 stars.
Local neighborhood full service grocery store... Great section that sells prepacked local fare... Poke deli... They make fresh huli huli chicken & beef, chicken teriyaki outside on the grill during certain days... Nice draw to the store!
This is the only place I have found a particular brand of amazing locally produced eggs. The vegetable section is usually well stocked, but can't find my favorite local produce here. Meats are excellent.
7 pieces of fried chicken for $6. cheaper than Kentucky fried chicken.
Very nice staff and good poke selection. I like that they prepare both fresh and previously frozen styles of the same poke so you can a) visually compare and b) pick which fits your budget better. Good parking in back Also.
