DTE staff will not allow any products or sell any products containing GMO ingredients in any shape or form (ready made dry food, premade frozen, fresh produce, etc). Have complete peace of mind shopping here.
Parking is a challenge...
Awesome selection of fresh organics, bulk dried goods and the 'hard to find' goods other healthy stores lack. Also has a 'HOT FOOD' bar that changes daily, always good. Next is the deli section offering fresh pastries, amazing cheesecakes, etc. and a menu of mixed ethnic-foods that will break your mouth! (In the good way) Plus the staff are exceptionally helpful and progressive, and the vitamins and other natural derivative-oriented amenities, toiletries, lotions and balms, essential oils and extracts, hand made soaps and Hawaiiana is superior to any other stores or co-ops I've found on this Island. If you can't find it, ask and they usually will try to locate it for you! Can't ask for better in my humble opinion. Stay healthy!
Excellent food selections. Love how they list all the ingredients of dishes, made-to-order food comes out fast, cashiers are excellent. My only complaint is that the store isles are cramped. They just need a bigger location.
Their hot & cold buffet is a bit pricey but worth it...
A great store to support one's natural living and eating lifestyle. Great selection of natural foods. Parking can be tight.
It's an organic marvel. Their buffet and menu items are fab! It's Hawaii though, so dig deep into your wallet for produce that you'd expect would be plentiful and local. Maybe the mainland gets most of it. However, this is the premier health foods store on Oahu ~ more than one location. Price aside, a very nice place. In Honolulu traffic you'll soon learn to love King St. location, reasonably easy to find and park.
