I went at 11:30am and it was crowded, mostly Koreans so you know this place must be good. The line was about 20 deep and all the tables were taken. There isn’t a lot of places to sit, so you may need to make friends with people, have a friend hold a spot, stand or they do have tables set up outside in front of the store. The buffet is made up of two stations. Don’t expect kalbi and tons of meats. It’s mostly of banchan and the selection does vary daily and depending when you’re there. The first station is the banchan. Other than banchan, there was also chicken, mandoo and green onion pajun. I saw people eating had kim bap but when I got to the buffet, it was gone. The second station has white rice and a healthy bean rice along with some type of rice porridge and seaweed soup which was empty when I got there.
What’s the catch? No take out and you get one plate and bowl per person. It’s an all you can eat that fits on your plate and in your bowl, no seconds. Oh, and no waiting for things. I asked for kim bap and was told no, it will come out in half hour even though I saw the kitchen cutting some of up right then. Oh and you must eat what you take or you could be fined. There’s a lady who watches the line and is near the trash. I watched people try to go get seconds and she scolded them. Follow the rules, I wouldn’t mess with a Korean ahjumma...they can be fierce.
There wasn’t anywhere for me to sit so I went outside the store and someone offered me a seat at a community table. The food was good and worth the $7. I want to come back and see if dinner is different.
the lunch buffet is a good price but watch out, the seating is competitive
Went shopping Saturday night and bought this side dish that was pre packed. When I got home to eat the noodles was spoiled and made me throw up. Went back to get a refund which they did give me. The owner said sorry. Same thing happened at Palama market but didn't get a refund, food didn't have any taste.
Korean market
What makes this place stands out is the kitchen in the back next to the meat counter. $5-6 for a soup, rice, and banchan. The soup is actually really good, esp the yookgaejang
busy parking lot

We shop at 88 weekly when we can. We started shopping there when it was Keeamoku Market, Eco Market and now 88 Market. The Korean products are good. Prices reasonable for most of their vegetables and fruits. We purchased frozen meats, vegetables and fruits, dry goods, sauces, etc. We enjoy going there and will try their new buffet soon.
This is the old Keeaumoku Supermarket with new management. Parking can be tough here since it is shared with other nearby businesses and the lot is kind of a weird set up. It’s a small Korean supermarket where you can get all your Korean groceries such as fresh fruit, tons of instants spicy noodles, etc. They also do have grab and go foods too.
But there’s a secret that the Koreans are hiding... a hidden lunch/dinner buffet. It’s located in the back of the store and cash only.
