Went there to try their Breakfast. I'm traveling alone so didn't want to sit at a table. I asked to be served at the bar. Problem is the bar wasn't open yet. It would open in 15 - 30 minutes. That's fine, I don't mind waiting. Because it's gimmicky and well established, the staff didn't feel the need to provide good customer service.

It's just like all the other Hard Rock Cafes that I've been to. If you like Hard Rock Cafes this one is the same. In general the prices are high for the area by about 2 or 3 dollars per plate.
The good news is they thanked me as I exited.
Had to tip my hat to Stephanie and her amazing crew of hostesses and servers! Ended up being a "party coordinator" for a friend's birthday at the last minute, the guest of honor showed up late but we were allowed to keep our original reservation. After all 9 of us (including a small child) were situated, our expert server Ben ensured that everyone had what they needed. Thanks again and Cheers Hard Rock!!!
Love this restaurant! Been there 4 times and the food has been great every time. The service has been great too. If you love to people watch than ask to sit by the rail to the outside. Fun experience and at certain times they have live music. The ambience is smooth, while the music is soothing. Highly recommend if your in the area.
After waiting for 30 minutes, nobody came up to me to ask how I was, or if I'd like a coffee or water. I left, without eating or drinking anything, to go to a place that valued my business.
Great hard rock in Honolulu. Had good meals there, and friendly staff. Restaurant level open along roadside looking out onto Kalakaua Ave, main shopping road through Waikiki.
