As good as dive bars get
My boyfriend and I recently traveled to oahu for a stay for memorial day weekend. During our stay we went out one night with our good friends that reside there on oahu, that love this place. The 4 of us began our Saturday night here at amnesia around 830pm. Initially, through the door the experience was pleasant and we were greeted promptly. We all proceeded to order cocktails with a female bartender that appeared in her 30s, caucasian, medium brown hair that was tied back and was originally from new York. She was at first very personable and friendly and the drinks were good. The 2 men from our party proceeded to go over to the pool table and play pool while us girls waited at the bar for 2 waters which we had asked for when we first ordered cocktails but never received them. The bar was roughly halfway full of people, it wasn't busy it was fairly mellow. After 5 minutes of cocktails delivered but no waters, I kindly ask again for 2 waters. The bartender continues to help each and every customer that walked up to the bar and ordered drinks. She continues to make drink after drink after drink for every single guy that ordered one, long after we had asked for waters. Finally after at LEAST 10 to 15 minutes, if not longer, My friend Gina asks her once more, now a THIRD time for our waters. The bartender miss, quickly pours our waters and sets them down very firmly on the bar in front of us. I am never ever one to leave a bad review. 70% of reviews I leave are very positive but when I feel very blatantly treated poorly, I go out of my way to leave a review. I'm betting that had we ordered alcoholic beverages that had an actual price tag to them instead of waters which are free, we would have received the drinks that came with a price instantly and not had to wait almost a half an hour. Also this business might want to check on the conditions of their tables. The one we used to set our drinks on near the pool tables were very very wobbly and one of our waters eventually fell off of it.

Worst of the worst. People from out of state STAY AWAY! They will take advantage of you and treat you poorly.
Great staff, good music, cheap drinks $$$ That's all you need for a good time.
