Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (had buzzer) buzzer didn't work. Then went back and they were like "we've been calling you" they realised they had programmed the buzzer wrong. Anyway. That didn't bother us. Sat down. Not served. Smiled at a waiter to try and get their attention, they smiled back. Still not served. (By the way we had a hungry, luckily fairly patient, 16 month old). I asked a server if they could take our order, they said they would get our server. 5 minutes later our server turns up, apologises. Takes our order. (No smile, no character). We didn't get water served to us (every other table had it). Didn't come to us again until served our food. 15 minutes later we were thirsty. Went to the bar and ordered our drink ourselves. Luckily bar people were lovely and the lady served us with a smile. Food came. Quite basic, but nice enough food. We still left a small tip, and I made a point of saying to management it was for the bar and not the server. We won't be back. Which is unfortunate as some other families we know had been and encouraged us to visit. Hopefully you have a better experience than us.
We sat at the bar for breakfast. Good service. Food and drinks were pretty good and decent priced, too. Would recommend.
Been here three times in three days. Ate breakfast and dinner here. VERY BUSY on Friday nights. Gave buzzers that worked well and plenty of pretty places to wait. Limited menu, but Hubs and I usually order two items each off the Pupu menu. Bleu cheese salad dressing is among the best I've had. Poke nachos HUGE - more than enough to split. Breakfast menu is diverse and reasonably priced. Dinner service a little slow, but two of the waitstaff were new and in training. This restaurant is perhaps one of the best values in Waikiki.
Husband and I went there for dinner. Waited 15 minutes just to have someone come ask if we had been waited on. Waiter very nice would not tell us his name because he knew I was not happy. We both ordered steak. When it came out my husband ordered Med it was well done and he had to cut it with a butter knife. Mine had so much fat on it wasted half the steak. My husband is not a complainer of any kind, he said that was the worst steak he had ever eaten. Meal was $75. May want to think twice before eating dinner there!!!!
Large portions and friendly service was our experience at Cinnamon's. The eggs Benedict was excellent with homemade hollandaise sauce and properly poached eggs. The homefries were very nice...the coffee was reasonably industrial. Our service was fast and friendly. The manager put a damper on the experience with his need to inform us of the pay at the table rule. That dropped a star for me.
