Once out, our guide - Danny - showed us how to handle curbs and hills very nicely. He also explained a lot of the features of Diamond Head and the surfing culture.
All in all the experience was truly worth the price.
Booked at the last minute- I was a little skeptical at first: I'm the most uncoordinated person on the planet and it truly took about three minutes before it felt intuitive and so much fun! We did the introductory tour with Michael as I wasn't sure if my 10 yo would get it, but, well, you know kids, they pick up physical skills so fast! We had an awesome time and only wish we had had longer. Michael was friendly and knowledgeable. Defo recommended
Also the Google Map is a bit hard to read for this as the actual store is located inside a little mall. The address numbers are on the wall - just follow it in to inside the mall instead of the map route.
The tour was superb. It was a bit expensive, but so is everything else, and I thought this was the best tour I did on Oahu. If you're looking to try a segway, look these guys up. They are a first class operation, and you'll go home with some pretty cool photos.
