This park is a old historic site, once it was a nice park to take your children to, but now this park is filled with homeless, druggie ice addicts and sex offenders...i seen once a old homeless man trying to give a little girl a ice pipe and trying to guide her hand down his pants.. it's crazy they should have more police officers patrolling this drug and sex offender infested park to keep this neighborhood safe... don't come to this park unless you do drugs or want your child to get raped...
Been coming here for over 20 years. My son has a blast on the new playground but under the pavilion and surrounding the whole park are homeless people camping. As long as he has fun and nobody bothers us, it's ok. Bring fly repellent though as they come with the campers.
I lived there years ago. All homeless people are NOT DANGEROUS.
