We rented Daisy this spring, and we had an amazing time! Every where we went, we were greeted with smiles and waves. Hawaii Campers thought of everything! The campers come fully loaded with everything you need to have fun in Hawaii. We will definitely be renting from them again for our next trip to Oahu!
Brad and Jill stock the van with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. Beach towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, lawn chairs, kitchen amenities, the works! The vans are very well taken care of and run great. They are vintage camper vans with a modern revamped twist- adorable!!!!
We absolutely loved our camper van!! It came with everything we needed. The owner was super nice and relaxed and self-disclosed all the little funky features before we took off. It was exactly what we wanted, no surprises and it didn't break down.... a little gutless on the hills but that's expected from a 1.4L (i think) diesel. We would highly recommend it for people who love having fun and going on adventures. You never need to pack for the day, you just go and stop as you please. The only downside is that they can't pick up/drop off at the airport. However we were able to convince a shuttle to drop us off on the way there and grabbed a cab back. Aloha!!
This is without a doubt the best way to see Oahu. Sleeping under the stars, with the sound of the ocean rocking you to sleep beats the heck out of a stuffy hotel room. Camping lets you experience true Hawaii literally at every waking moment of your vacation. This was one of the best vacation experiences of my life. The owners provide everything you need, and orient you well to where to go for the adventure of a lifetime!
I could go on for days about the experience but all I can say is that there is NOTHING better than waking up, popping open the back of the van and seeing the ocean just beyond your toes. It was the most unique and relaxing way to experience the beauty of Oahu.
