Based on the fact that things appear clean, I surmise that the staff is doing what they can with limited resources.
But they have great hardworking and helpful staffs tho so
The Liliha Library being so close to Chinatown and nearby Chinese community. They carry quite a few Chinese language books. The library is designed by Steven Oyakawa, who was a former student of Frank Lloyd Wright, the American architect. The library features skylights, rounded corners, a weird looking lattice work at the entrance as well as a roof-top parking - not common features back in 1966 when the building was built. some of the original retro furniture are still being in use. I love this library.
theres usually a little bit of a wait for the public computers.
Worn out facility. Furnishings are shot. No outlets for electronics. Strong mildew smell.
They currently have 4 computers working and you'll have to wait so long to get to use one of em. Ugh.
In case u didnt know--they have lots more parking on the roof
