Designed in 1956 by the local firm Lemmon Freeth in Haines it is a masterwork of regional modernism in Hawaii. Most of library is w/o A/C but it is still the best place to study in Honolulu
Good place to study, good hours. This library can get pretty hot especially on the first floor. There are areas in this library where you can get a lot done, there's also a computer lab and printer.

Can be very hot, since it has no ac ; hence, it can also be dusty, and you may find insects coming in from outside !
Too hot for me. My friends started to bring tank tops for specifically wearing in the library since it is so hot. The outside is cooler then the inside.
