Like stepping back in time to good service, fair pricing and knowledgeable advice
Cons: The place is very untidy and unorganized. It's very cramped. There's about an inch of dust on everything. Everything in there seems pretty old. The old man behind the counter probably should have called it quits 20 years ago. And here's the kicker; THEY ONLY TAKE CASH.
Terrible, rude service!! There was one other customer in the store so I patiently waited. One employee was fiddling with books and the other on the computer. They were annoyed when I asked where I might find wall hooks for mounting hardware, like I was wasting their time. They obviously so not want any new customers. I went to Walmart and quickly found what I needed.
Here's the deal. I absolutely support local businesses, but you need to have something to offer to compete with the prices and convenience of bigger stores.
Really nice little local shop. Glad I went in here when Walmart next door didn't have what I wanted, it was cheaper too especially since the guy gave me a handful of nails in my purchase for free. So good customer service too!
Unhelpful and a bit rude. Ace Hardware and city mill make an effort to help with anything and everything. The guy at sheridan is just the opposite
Pros: If you live next door, it's the nearest hardware store. They have a designated parking garage.
I would not recommend this store.
