Always plentiful and free parking. Helpful folks work here, military discount applies with ID, and prices are decent. Down one star because in January, there is some weird process of registering your military ID with them to get a discount--actually physically presenting to them your current military ID next to your face or even in uniform, IN PERSON AT THE REGISTER, along with all your other identifying documents in your wallet, is not going to be considered proof you are you and a servicemember anymore. I really don't want copies of my military ID floating around in the Lowe's computer system. I appreciate them giving us any discount at all, of course, but unnecessary increased risk of ID theft isn't part of the deal. Weirdness. Might start shopping at the Home Depot instead.
Very good customer service. I was browsing and was approached by at least 5 different associates asking if they could help me with finding a product. Loved it! Didn't need to find help.
Finding someone to assist in selling something to you is a difficult task. Whether it's a major appliance or, in this instance, window blinds - no one is there to help. I came on a Sunday morning to buy a $70 aluminum blind but no one was around. So, I went to customer service to ask for help. They called two numbers (no answers) then used the intercom to ask for assistance. After waiting for 15 minutes, I left. I came back on Monday and, again, no one was around. Fortunately, I eventually found someone in another department who, wait for it, called two numbers and then used the intercom to ask for assistance. After about 10 minutes, I think the guy in the other department saw the right person and got her to come over and cut the blinds to the correct width. We hate coming here and only do so when we can't get what we need at Home Depot.

Employees were very rude and made me feel like I didn't belong there. I was wearing a dress because I work in an office and had to pickup some join compound for a company activity. I couldn't lift the 1 gallon bucket and had to wonder around the store and wait for a while for someone to finally help me. This happens twice. Once to get the bucket in my cart and again waiting for them to find someone to get it into my car. They paged once then acted like I wasn't there. They made me wait a while then I asked if should would page them again. Not even looking at me she paged someone again. From now on I will shop at Home Depot.
Can I just say this is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST STORE ON THE ISLAND!!!! I don’t know if the head office is even reading these comments or are concern about the bad reviews. Our experience here over the past year has been consistently bad and getting worse with every visit. We ordered a range online and were promised different dates every visit and with different departments. One agent told us that it was already shipped and enroute to Honolulu and when we asked for an estimate(an ESTIMATE! Not a definite date) she had the audacity to respond to us “it’s already in the ship! I can’t make it come here faster!”. Well what an absolutely amazing show of NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The following week, we went again to check on the stove and because of the horrible experience from the previous week, we asked for a manager. Oh boy was that a waste of time! So Rob, the manager, was helping another customer so we waited patiently for him to finish( by patiently, I meant 2 hours of patience that I and my husband have managed to come up with despite the incompetence of the people working here). And I wish I can tell you that we were able to speak with the manager after waiting all that time but we didn’t. He sneaked out to somewhere I don’t know and hid!!! He hid despite telling us that he will come back to us in five minutes!!
These are just snippets of a one long horrible movie produced and directed by Lowe’s. Be warned! Take your business elsewhere if you have no need for extra stress.
When they promise you a refund for picked up items be sure to check your accounts because when they say that it will be put into your account automatically. They actually mean a week or two after the product has been picked up and you are back in the store asking when the refund is going to hit your account.
