In regards to making money through marked up text books this is your place. The staff is happy to take your money and leave you broke. Frowny face for the establishment that takes the time to figure out how to rape your wallet.
Its nice inside. Usually quiet unless there is a tour group.
The workers are friendly but the textbook section is constantly closed for "sorting". I understand that students browsing the books is an inconvenience to the bookstore staff but its a shame students can't browse the textbooks while they are building their class schedule. I've never seen this at another university bookstore.
I love stopping at University of Hawai'i Manoa Bookstore whenever I'm in the area. Their book and card selection is fantastic, and the cafe is great. Employees I've interacted with have always been friendly and helpful.
Great place to study, with 24hrs library hours, you can catch up with your assignment really- quickly!
