Excellent public school. The teachers & administrative staff are so patient and kind. The campus is small and nestled in the mountains overlooking the ocean and the Honolulu area. It's usually cool and sometimes rainy which keeps everything green! The principal Mr. Toyooka is attentive to the needs of the children and parents. Mrs. Okita is my son's Kindergarten teacher. I believe he has transitioned so smoothly due to her kindness, and firm way of teaching. Tressie in the office is so helpful. She helped me with paperwork processing as we were new to the school. I can't say anything bad about this school because their parent organization , 'Aikane 'O Nu'uanu is on point. Their are so many different activities that you can sign your child up for like, Lego building, Chinese Language, Sports prep, Chorus Class. The list goes on and on. I know I made the right decision to bring my children to this school vs. private school.
