In my experience as the mother of a Damien graduate I am very happy overall with the education he received. In particular I was impressed by the enthusiasm and dedication of his teachers. Initially I was apprehensive about whether the education he received would be affected by attending a Catholic school--if his science curriculum would be limited to exclude ideas that directly conflicted with traditional Catholicism, for example--but as far as I could tell that wasn't an issue. My favorite thing about Damien is that my son made some really good friends there, forming tight bonds with a diverse group of really smart & interesting boys from totally different backgrounds, kids I'm sure he never would have met had he attended a different high school.
